Phil Chang received his MFA from CalArts and his BA from the University of California, Irvine. Recent exhibitions of his work have taken place at Renwick Gallery, New York; Cirrus Gallery, Los Angeles; Marvelli Gallery, New York; Hudson Franklin, New York; and the Bolsky Gallery at Otis College of Art and Design. His work has been written about in The New Yorker. A forthcoming artist’s book, Four Over One, will be published by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in association with Textfield, Inc. in May 2010. He is currently visiting faculty at the University of California Los Angeles and a lecturer at Otis College of Art and Design. Chang lives and works in Los Angeles.
